The Best of Complex Con Nov 3 2018
No shortage of craziness at Complex Con this weekend…Check the images for the standouts.
The World of Charles and Ray Eames Exhibit opened this past Saturday at the Oakland Muesum of California. The exhibit was as humanizing as it was exalting, a great reminder that the Eames were regular people that spent time developing their talents and being patient with their work. Inspiring to see the Eames’ broad range of product, movies, furniture and architecture.
One of the days I had to get some inspiration. So important to keep information coming in to keep new ideas coming out.
I had the pleasure of speaking with the good folks at Apparel Magazine late last year:
Good magazine pushing to get a foothold in the competitive fashion writing game.
From the 24 hour sketch-a-thon the other day.
Started off feeling good about the list of things I wanted to get after- (footwear, logo's, tags, characters, people, furniture, housing, abstract, etc.)
Hit a wall about 4 AM but got through with a little background noise from Netflix and when the sun came up it felt like I was on the home stretch.
Check out the Coke, coffee and junk food powered results:
Unexpectedly beautiful exhibit "Re-Living the City" Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/ Architecture in Shenzhen right as you get off the ferry. If you're at all nearby, it's worth taking the short ferry from HK or Macau.
Off to China to check up on designs for a week. Through HK to just to this side of Dongguan.
